If you are a Star Wars fan, I’m sure you familiar with lightsaber. In the hands of a Jedi, a lightsaber is almost unstoppable. It can be used to cut through blast doors or enemies alike. Nbitwonder shows you how to build RGB Luxeon LED lightsaber, of course you can not use it to blast the door 🙂
The PIC18F2221-based RGB Luxeon LED driver allows for PWM modulation of an RGB luxeon LED, allowing the color of the lightsaber blade to be adjusted to nearly any color in the RGB color spectrum. The current version of the lightsaber firmware supports 24-bit color, allowing for 16,777,216 different color combinations.
