The purpose of the project is to monitor the temperature of three compost heaps. It will send the data wirelessly to the receiver and process or display the result to PC. In the transmitter board, the project uses the TXM-433 as RF transmitter and MCU AVR AT90S4433 (you can replace it with AVR ATMEGA8) [...]

This Radioisotope Analyzer project is built around PIC32MX360F512L. The device used for identifying and studying sources of ionizing radiation. This handheld laboratory instrument will processes the signal from a sensor called a “scintillation probe”, analyzes and stores the data, and produces a graphical output known as an “energy spectrum”. The location and amplitude of [...]

This AVR ATmega8 based radar range finder project uses infrared light instead of ultrasonic. The project is built to detect sound absorbing materials like padded furniture which can not be detected by ultrasonic radar. Ultrasonic ranging systems require many milliseconds of acquisition time rendering them unusable for fast moving systems.

There are some ways to measure humidity in soils, which are different and more difficult than measuring relative humidity or humidity in air. One example is to take the sample, warm it up and measure the time it takes to loss humidity and the weight of the soil before and after the process.
