AVR SONY RC Decoding

8:31 am

SONY RC protocol

This tutorial shows you how to decode SONY Remote Control using microcontroller AVR. The project use external interrupt at the falling edge to detect the pulse. The project use AT MEGA 16 and vcd remote control sensor or you can use any type sensor that have filter of 38 KHz to 40 KHz on it. To compile the source code, the project uses BASCOM AVR.

This application note only focused on the Sony decoding although the schematic including DS1307 RTC, LCD connector, and LM386 amplifier.
